Membership does matter! This is a time of crisis for seniors in Alameda County, and the organizations that serve them are hard pressed to address fiscal threats while providing essential services. This is why the Senior Services Coalition is needed now more than ever. Our united efforts start with your membership.

Your membership helps us pursue our goals:
  • Strengthen the voice and influence of the aging community in decision-making at the county, state and local level.
  • Preserve funding for senior services and strengthen the safety net for economically disadvantaged seniors.
  • Make the case for community-based supportive services, access to healthcare, and resources that help seniors live as independently as possible.
  • Promote greater flexibility within our County to connect individuals with the services they need.

  • Your membership helps us secure foundation funding to continue our work.

Your Membership Dues help us to:
  • Amplify our advocacy efforts with media communications
  • Increase county-level advocacy
  • Produce compelling material and data that brings home to policy makers the reality of vulnerable seniors who need services
  • Coordinate our efforts with our web site
  • Lobby for legislative changes when our other funding won't cover lobbying

  • We have an outstanding track record, political recognition, and a dedicated staff. All we need to complete the picture is you!

  • Pay your membership dues online

  • Pay your membership dues by mailing in a check

  • Request Dues Exemption (attach and mail resolution or minutes signed by Commission chair)
